2024-2025 AMDSB Student School Climate Survey
The Avon Maitland District School Board is committed to creating and maintaining safe, inclusive and welcoming schools. As part of this commitment, we are asking students in Grades 4 to 12 to complete this anonymous survey about their school experiences in these areas:
● School Experiences (e.g., sense of belonging, relationships, learning engagement),
● Environment (e.g., school environment, learning environment, representation, and inclusion),
● Safety (e.g., bullying, harassment, discrimination), and
● Well-being (e.g., general well-being, and social and emotional feelings).
It is important that students share their ideas and concerns about their school experience. The results from this survey are used to help AMDSB develop policies and programs that will help improve student well-being, belonging and engagement.
This survey is anonymous and results will only be examined at a group level. Students can choose to not answer any questions they do not feel comfortable answering. This survey should take approximately 30-minutes to complete.
If you have questions or would like to request more information about the school’s upcoming implementation of the AMDSB student school climate survey, please contact Stephanie Pagan, Research Manager at stephanie.pagan@ed.amdsb.ca.
